Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos called for supporters to put on a united front, but the message did not seem to work.

Some Arsenal fans have not taken kindly to Dani Ceballos’s latest tweet, which has suggested that the players and fans need to stay ‘united’.

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka was jeered by a large section of the Emirates Stadium crowd after being substituted on Sunday, and he reacted angrily towards supporters.

Xhaka cupped his ear towards the Arsenal fans as he left the field in a blatant show of dissent.

But Ceballos has called for the Gunners to put on a united front, as they look to re-find their top form.

Unfortunately for Ceballos the message has fallen on deaf ears with some Arsenal fans, who feel he should not be getting involved.

Ceballos only joined Arsenal in the summer, and many supporters of the London club claim that they are tired of their players saying the same cliches.

Ceballos has had a mixed start at Arsenal, with the Spaniard making a blistering start to life with Unai Emery’s men, but failing to hold down a starting place.

Arsenal are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table, with their next match coming against Liverpool in the League Cup tomorrow.
