Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren had some difficult moments during Jurgen Klopp’s side’s win yesterday.

Roy Keane has told Sky Sports, during their live coverage of Liverpool’s match with Tottenham Hotspur, that he thinks Dejan Lovren is a weakness in Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Lovren has come into Liverpool’s starting line-up recently, with Joel Matip injured, but he has not always impressed.

Lovren struggled at times for Liverpool yesterday, even though Jurgen Klopp’s side beat Tottenham 2-1.

And Keane does think that when Lovren starts for Liverpool opposition sides have a player to target.

“You talk about weaknesses in the Liverpool team, well I think Lovren will give you a chance,” Keane said.

“He could have been a bit braver [with Tottenham’s goal], but we’ve seen that before from him.”

Harry Kane gave Lovren some issues during the contest when Spurs did break forward, with the Croatian struggling to deal with the England captain at times.

Lovren is unlikely to be in Liverpool’s starting line-up for too much longer, as Matip is edging closer to full fitness.

When Matip does come back into Liverpool’s team then it is very difficult to spot a weakness in their side, with Klopp’s team proving very difficult to beat.

Liverpool are still unbeaten in domestic matches since the start of the campaign, with the Reds leading the way in the Premier League table.
