The pressure is mounting on Unai Emery, whose Arsenal side produced yet another abject performance on Sunday.

Emmanuel Frimpong has slammed Unai Emery for his team selections and defended Arsenal fans for booing Ganit Xhaka during their 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The former Arsenal midfielder was also critical of Pepe, who joined the club for £72 million in the summer [BBC Sport], for taking 'so long' at everything he does, including taking corners.

It was a very controversial game at the Emirates Stadium, with Xhaka's reaction to being booed being the biggest talking point then VAR.

Before, during and after the game, Frimpong was pretty vocal on Arsenal on his personal Twitter account as he sent a series of these messages about Emery, Xhaka and Pepe.

Whilst Arsenal will feel that they were robbed of all three points in the end, that won't be the talking point of the match.

Xhaka's reaction to the fans whilst being substituted has resulted in the Arsenal captain receiving widespread criticism because they felt he was wrong for how he reacted.

Whilst he didn't have a poor game, the home supporters were seemingly pleased to see him taken off during the game, as Emery's side let a two-goal lead slip in the game.

The pressure is only mounting on Emery, who is already being criticised for his team selections and his decision to freeze out Mesut Ozil from his first-team plans.
