Report: Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara on Aston Villa’s radar

Glasgow Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara is reportedly wanted by Aston Villa and Crystal Palace among other clubs.

Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are among the clubs interested in signing Glen Kamara from Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers, according to The Daily Mail.

It has been reported that Villa and Burnley are following Kamara, who is one of the best midfielders at Rangers.

The report has also claimed that Brighton and Hove Albion and Palace are monitoring the former Arsenal prospect, who joined Rangers from Dundee in January 2019 for £50,000.

Interestingly, Kamara is not the first – or only – Rangers Villa are reportedly interested in signing.

The Scottish Sun recently claimed that Dean Smith’s side are keeping tabs on star striker Alfredo Morelos, who is valued at £20 million by Rangers.

Rangers stay

Kamara has been superb for Rangers, and it is hard to see manager Gerrard sanction a transfer for the former Arsenal prospect in the January transfer window.

After all, with the Gers challenging for the Scottish Premiership title and also aiming to make a big impact in the Europa League, they have to hold onto their best players.
