Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur have lost against Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League.

Micky Hazard has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s defeat to Liverpool.

Tottenham have suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of Liverpool away from home at Anfield on Sunday evening.

Spurs took the lead in the very first minute in the Premier League game through Harry Kane.

Liverpool restored parity through Jordan Henderson in the 52nd minute, and Mohamed Salah found the net from the penalty spot in the 75th minute.

Former Tottenham star Hazard was following the match, and he believes that Liverpool were the better team.


Over the course of the 90 minutes at Anfield on Sunday evening, hosts Liverpool had 68% of the possession, took 21 shots of which 13 were on target, and earned eight corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Tottenham had 32% of the possession, took 11 shots of which four were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.

The result means that Liverpool are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment, while Spurs are as low as 11th in the standings.
