Olivier Giroud came on as a substitute for Chelsea against Burnley on Saturday.

Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Olivier Giroud against Burnley.

Giroud was in action for Chelsea in their Premier League game against Burnley away from home at Turf Moor on Saturday evening.

The former Arsenal striker did not start the match, but the France international came on as a substitute in the 70th minute, as Frank Lampard’s side won 4-2.

The 33-year-old striker had a very good chance to score, but he did link up well with the wingers.

Giroud has struggled for playing time under Chelsea manager Frank Lampard this season, and it does not seem that he will be able to play week in, week out for the Blues.

According to WhoScored, the former Montpellier and Arsenal striker has played just 121 minutes in the Premier League and only 17 minutes in the Champions League for the London club so far this season.

Chelsea fans were not impressed with the display produced by Giroud against Burnley and have criticised the striker on Twitter.
