Ryan Sessegnon could be available for Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League game against Liverpool.
Tottenham Hotspur youngster Ryan Sessegnon has expressed his delight on Twitter at training with his teammates ahead of the match against Liverpool.
Sessegnon, who can operate as a left-winger or as a left-back, joined Tottenham from Fulham in the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old has had injury issues and has yet to play a competitive game for Spurs, but he is inching closer to making his debut.
The England Under-21 international has posted a photo of him training with his Spurs teammates on Twitter, and he is pleased to be back training.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino himself has suggested that the youngster could be available to be on the substitutes’ bench against Liverpool away from home at Anfield on Sunday evening.
Pochettino told talkSPORT about Sessegnon’s availability against Liverpool: “Maybe he will be available but it’s always the same – when one is in, one is out. If you plan for him to be on the bench you need to put someone out of the bench.
“That is a problem, but it is about waiting, being consistent and showing his quality and to wait for the opportunity that he will have during the season.”

Winning against Liverpool
Liverpool are playing well at the moment and will head into the match against Tottenham at Anfield as favourites.
However, Spurs registered a big win in the Champions League in midweek, and that will have enhanced the players’ confidence.
