Southampton lost against Leicester City on Friday.

Matt Le Tissier has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Southampton’s embarrassing defeat to Leicester City.

Southampton suffered a humiliating 9-0 loss at the hands of Leicester at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League on Friday evening.

Ayoze Perez scored a hat-trick for the Foxes, and so did Jamie Vardy, while Ben Chilwell, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison also etched their names on the scoresheet.

The Saints played most of the match with 10 men due to the sending off of Ryan Bertrand in the 12th minute.

Southampton legend Le Tissier was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.

Bouncing back

Southampton were very poor and disappointing against Leicester, and it is going to be extremely hard for the players to recover from this defeat.

The Saints will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the fourth round of the EFL Cup.
