Neil Lennon’s Celtic won against Lazio at Celtic Park in the Europa League on Thursday.

The Manchester United legend was also impressed with how Celtic found a way to get the better of Lazio 2-1 at Celtic Park in the Europa League.
Manuel Lazzari put the Serie A outfit in the lead five minutes before the half-time interval.
Ryan Christie equalised for the home team midway through the second half, and Christopher Jullien scored the winner in the 89th minute.
Former United and England international midfielder Scholes was impressed with the Celtic supporters and with the team for recovering after going a goal down.
Meanwhile, former Scotland international striker James McFadden has praised Celtic for their performance against Lazio.
Scholes said on BT Sport 3 (11:07pm, October 24, 2019): “It’s one of those places, Celtic, where you go, you play well, you control the game, as Lazio did tonight, and as we did for large parts of our game years ago, but they always find a way, they always find a way to win.
“We saw the crowd was sensational. We saw how crazy they were going there towards the end. It just shows that the Europa League is important to some clubs at least, which is good.”
McFadden told BBC Sport: “It wasn’t a backs-to-the-wall performance at all. If anything, the threat that Lazio had was on the counter-attack. Celtic have just shown another side to their game. When things get tough they roll up their sleeves.”

Big win for Celtic
Celtic were brilliant against Lazio and deservedly picked up all three points against the Serie A outfit at Celtic Park.
Neil Lennon’s side are at the top of Europa League Group E at the moment with seven points from three matches, a point clear of second-placed CFR Cluj.
