Conceicao has given his take on the final result, and the Porto manager has praised Rangers.
Conceicao told A Bola: “We had some individual mistakes that penalised us. The opposition created one or two situations, but we gave those to them.
“We knew they are a competitive and aggressive team, and that it was going to be a tough game, but we wanted to win this match.”
Conceicao added: “We had enough chances to win the game, not a fantastic game, but we knew that against these teams the quality of the match is lost a lot and the combativeness comes up.”
Over the course of the 90 minutes on Thursday evening, hosts FC Porto had 50% of the possession, took 10 shots of which four were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Rangers had 50% of the possession, took nine shots of which two were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
The Gers are second in Europa League Group G at the moment with four points from three matches, two points behind leaders Young Boys.
