The Leeds United striker spent half a season at Crystal Palace in 2015.
Some Crystal Palace fans are revelling in Patrick Bamford's Leeds United struggles.
Bamford has been widely criticised by many of the Leeds faithful, having failed to score in any of his last eight Championship outings.
Nevertheless, the Whites manager Marcelo Bielsa has continued to persevere with the former Crystal Palace loanee despite his secondary striking option Eddie Nketiah having impressed when summoned from the bench - explaining in great detail his reasons why during a press conference earlier on Thursday.
And as far as the following Palace supporters are concerned, everything is going just perfectly for Bamford...
I hear Patrick Bamford is struggling massively for form at Leeds.— HLTCO (@HLTCO) October 23, 2019
He was trending at number 3 last night and it was just pure abuse from Leeds fans.— Simon Bannister (@Bannister121) October 23, 2019
Just finished watching the Leeds Utd documentary on Amazon Prime and I can safely say that my suspicions of him being an absolute prick were confirmed every time he appeared on screen.— Ben Lynam (@benjiesta) October 23, 2019
Seriously #lufc fans, it makes me absolutely sick to the core that Bamford even pulled a Palace shirt on. Get rid, get a proper striker and enjoy the success. He’s non-league at best. Attitude village.— Jack Barton (@JackkBarton) October 22, 2019
I love Marcelo Bielsa but his loyalty towards that turnip makes me sad. https://t.co/dPbPKUQQ9t— HLTCO (@HLTCO) October 24, 2019
Crystal Palace are one of several clubs for whom Bamford - who was named the Championship's player of the year during his season at Middlesbrough - played for on loan from Chelsea.
But just as he did at Norwich and Burnley - also in the Premier League - the 26-year-old found his opportunities limited and his goals non-existent.
Bamford has found the net 14 times in 39 games for Leeds, who are reported to have paid Middlesbrough £7 million for him last summer.
