Report claims Tammy Abraham’s reaction to DeAndre Yedlin block in Chelsea v Newcastle

According to The Chronicle, Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham was stunned by Newcastle United defender DeAndre Yedlin last weekend.

Former Tottenham Hotspur right-back Yedlin made a brilliant block to deny Chelsea striker Abraham from doubling the advantage for the Blues.

Christian Pulisic teed up the former Aston Villa loanee perfectly, but the 26-year-old USA international made a superb late block to deny the 22-year-old England international striker - who earns £50,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.

The Chronicle has claimed that after Abraham saw his shot blocked, he was stunned and said: "Oh my God! Oh my God!”

Abraham has been superb for Chelsea so far this season and is one of the best young strikers in the Premier League.

According to WhoScored, the 22-year-old has made eight starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for the Blues so far this campaign, scoring eight goals in the process.

The youngster has also scored one goal in three Champions League games for Frank Lampard’s side so far this campaign, according to WhoScored.
