Liverpool loanee Ovie Ejaria was in top form in the Championship for Reading last night.
Liverpool supporters on Twitter have raved about Ovie Ejaria’s performance for Reading last night as he provided a stunning assist during the game.
Ejaria is on a season-long loan at the Championship club from Anfield, but next summer he is set to leave Liverpool because Reading have a view to making his loan deal permanent, as reported by BBC Sport.
In the first half, with Ejaria in possession of the ball in his own half, he played a delightful ball through to George Puscas, who raced through and equalised for the away team.
The game would end with both teams finding the back of the net again, but it was Ejaria’s performance that caught the eye of many.
Liverpool fans believe the youngster showcased his class on the night, but they did realise that he won’t be their player for much longer.
They lauded his performance on the night, especially the assist he provided for the first goal, as many think he ran the show, especially with his dazzling footwork in the final third.
Whilst Reading aren’t expected to earn promotion to the Premier League or even finish in the play-off places, they will be hopeful that a man of Ejaria’s talents can push them up the table.
If the highly-rated youngster continues to produce performances such as the one he put out last night then it’ll bode well for Reading and their chances of surprising a few people this season.
