Arsenal supporters react to Leeds United loan striker’s goal.
Eddie Nketiah came off the bench for Leeds United to make a statement at Preston.
Leeds had gone a goal down before they turned to Nketiah from the bench on 76 minutes.
Patrick Bamford had struggled to make an impact for the Whites, failing to get a shot on target.
One chance was all Nketiah needed, scoring a header in the 87th minute from a Jack Harrison cross.
It was a clinical strike, and Nketiah’s third of the season in the league, and fifth in all competitions.
Remarkably he does not have a Championship start to his name yet, with all nine of his appearances coming from the bench.
It’s an irritating situation for Leeds fans, and Arsenal supporters too.
Gooners have been left feeling that Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa’s stubbornness is not helping anyone, with some fans calling for his recall.
This goal could be a turning point. It really should be. But nothing is predictable with Bielsa.
Here is a look at how Arsenal fans reacted…

Congrats, Eddie #afc
Nketiah was benched yet again this evening. He was introduced in the 77th minute while his side were 1-0 down and scored the equaliser within ten minutes. To put it into perspective, Patrick Bamford, the first choice striker, hasn’t found the net since August. Start him, @LUFC.— Patrick Timmons (@PatrickTimmons1) October 22, 2019
Nketiah would have got more playing time in Arsenal. Why did we send him i will never know.— Emperor Auba (@anoop4ever) October 22, 2019

Leeds gonna be fuming at Bielsa when we shift Eddie to Bristol in Jan.— amy (@amyampaire) October 22, 2019
