The Liverpool teenager brushed shoulders with Jurgen Klopp’s senior players today.

Harvey Elliott was present at Melwood today as Jurgen Klopp put his Liverpool players through their paces ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Genk in the Champions League.

The 16-year-old wonderkid, who joined the Reds from Fulham this past summer, has found first-team chances hard to come by since arriving on Merseyside.

Elliott made his senior debut in Liverpool’s League Cup win at MK Dons in September but hasn’t been seen since.

But he was included in Klopp’s first-team training today and time will tell whether he’s on the flight to Belgium.

The real story of Liverpool’s training session was the return of Mo Salah.

The Egyptian star, who missed Sunday’s draw at Manchester United, wore a big smile at Melwood today as he trained alongside his team-mates.

If all goes well, he will almost certainly make the trip to Genk for tomorrow’s Champions League clash.
