Chelsea beat Newcastle United 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Chelsea playmaker Christian Pulisic has told ESPN that he thought Newcastle United defender DeAndre Yedlin's block to deny Tammy Abraham was 'unbelievable'.
The Blues hosted Newcastle on Saturday afternoon, and were thoroughly expected to ease past Steve Bruce's men having impressed under Frank Lampard of late.
However, Newcastle did a great job of frustrating Newcastle, and it looked like they were edging towards a shock point before Marcos Alonso snatched the winner.
Alonso drove home Callum Hudson-Odoi's pass to seal a 1-0 win for Chelsea, and leave Newcastle to go home empty-handed.
Chelsea saw substitute Pulisic make a huge impact from the bench, with the American producing a fine run and cross to set up the winner.
Pulisic also forced Martin Dubravka into a fine save, and then teed up Tammy Abraham for a tap-in, only for Yedlin to make a miraculous block in front of goal.

Yedlin and Pulisic of course play together for the United States, and the Chelsea talent admitted after the game that he though Yedlin's block was 'unbelievable'.
Pulisic did add that he has lost his scoring touch, and that's why he passed across to Abraham rather than shooting himself, but it still took something special from Yedlin to keep Chelsea at bay in that moment.
“I was going to shoot last-second, but I saw Tammy wide open and then DeAndre made an unbelievable block, so maybe I should have shot it,” said Pulisic. "I just don't have that scoring touch but I know it will come back,” he added.
