Tottenham youngster was one step away from a debut.
Tottenham Hotspur youngster Brandon Austin was on the bench for the first time in his career at the weekend.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper was preferred to fellow youngster Alfie Whiteman as a back up option.
Tottenham are currently dealing with an extended injury absence for Hugo Lloris, who suffered a dislocated elbow against Brighton.

Spurs recently re-signed Michel Vorm as a free agent, but he was not judged to be ready.
Paulo Gazzaniga has been filling in as Tottenham's number two, starting in the 1-1 draw at Watford.
His chance may not come again if Vorm is ready, but this was good experience for the young prospect.
Austin has made three appearances for Tottenham's under-23 side this season, conceding five goals.
