The Tottenham Hotspur loanee impressed for Stoke yet again.
Tottenham Hotspur-owned Cameron Carter-Vickers won Man of the Match for his loan club on Saturday.
The USA international posted a commanding centre-back performance as Stoke City beat Fulham 2-0 at home.
Carter-Vickers, on another loan from Tottenham, had a challenge in containing the strong and quick Aleksandar Mitrovic, but the burly 21-year-old was equal to the task.
Here’s how Stoke fans reacted to his display:
I personally thought Carter-Vickers was MOTM. Solid & composed at the back, bloody love it #scfc— Mr.Brown (@adampaulfreddo) October 19, 2019

To be fair Carter-Vickers was outstanding but I do think Gregory deserved it.— Sam (@SamSCFC1) October 19, 2019
Both Batth and Carter-Vickers were rocks.
Great game today . Carter Vickers was solid at the back well happy with the result— Stokie AL (@al_stokie) October 19, 2019
CCV man of the match is huge for a guy that can’t get a sniff at a US camp.— Dr. Demetri (@PhillySoulDoc) October 20, 2019
Carter-Vickers was once tipped to be the next big thing at Tottenham, as far as being a defender goes.
But he hasn’t developed as expected and considering he hasn’t played a competitive game under Mauricio Pochettino since January of 2017, it’s probably fair to say that he’ll never be a senior player for the North Londoners.
This is his fourth loan away from the Lilywhites and he looks bang in form after a difficult start to the season.
