Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of James Ward-Prowse against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Ward-Prowse was in action for Southampton in their Premier League game against Wolves away from home at the Molineux Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The 24-year-old midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.

The England international once again failed to make an impact and did not offer much to the team.

According to WhoScored, against Wolves on Saturday afternoon, Ward-Prowse took shots and both were on target, played three key passes, had a pass accuracy of 80.8%, won one header, took 43 touches, and made two tackles, one interception and one clearance.

So far this season, Ward-Prowse has made nine appearances in the Premier League for the Saints, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.

Southampton fans were not impressed with the display produced by Ward-Prowse and have criticised the midfielder on Twitter.
