According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 65, October 20, 2019), Leeds United are interested in signing Aaron Hickey, meaning that there is yet more competition for Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers.

The Scottish Sun recently claimed of interest in Hickey from Rangers, with the report stating that the Gers’ new sporting director Ross Wilson was going to urge Gerrard to make a £2 million move for the 17-year-old left-back in the January transfer window.

The Daily Record has reported of interest from Mark Warburton’s Queens Park Rangers in the Scotland Under-17 international, with the Championship club in England planning a bid of £1.5 million for the youngster.

The Sun of Sunday (print edition, page 65, October 20, 2019) has reported that Leeds have been scouting the teenager and are planning to make a move in January.

Good long-term signing

Hickey is a very good and talented young left-back who will get better in the coming years.

The youngster would be a very good long-term signing for Leeds or Rangers, but patience must be shown to him.
