DeAndre Yedlin did not play well for Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United against Chelsea.

Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of DeAndre Yedlin against Chelsea.
Yedlin was in action for Newcastle in their Premier League game against Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in London on Saturday afternoon.
The 26-year-old USA international right-back started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Frank Lampard’s side won 1-0.
The defender did not have a good game and struggled to cope with 18-year-old forward Callum Hudson-Odoi.
According to WhoScored, Yedlin had a pass accuracy of 67.7%, took 49 touches, and made four tackles, one interceptions and one clearance, and put in three crosses of which one was on accurate.
So far this season, the former Tottenham Hotspur defender has made two starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Steve Bruce’s side so far this season, according to WhoScored.
Newcastle fans were not impressed with the display produced by Yedlin against Chelsea and have criticised the USA international right-back on Twitter.

Does Yedlin practice crossing? He’s so unbelievably bad at it. Put the time in ffs! #NUFC

Ciaran Clark and yedlin is possibly two of the worst footballers I’ve ever saw. If yedlin didn’t have pace he wouldn’t be a professional. Ball coming to Clark just past halfway acres of space hoofs it forward instead on taking the ball down. #nufc

Good first half, we’ve kept our shape very well and have made it hard for Chelsea to create chances. Yedlin and Almiron are struggling abit defensively. Big second half coming #NUFC #HWTL

Had Yedlin thrown a flat cross in in his life? Every one of them ballooned over to the back stick. #nufc

To show Deandre Yedlin how it's done. #NUFC
De Andre Yedlin, Javier Manquillo and Emil Krafth are like the Rock, paper and scissors when it comes to who who is the worst. #NUFC
