Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to latest comments from manager Mauricio Pochettino on Jack Clarke, who is on loan at Leeds United at the moment.

Spurs signed Clarke from Leeds in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £10 million.

The Premier League club immediately sent the 18-year-old winger back to the Championship outfit on a season-long loan deal.

The teenager, who can also operate as a forward, was expected to become a key figure in Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa’s side, but he has struggled for playing time.

According to WhoScored, Clarke has made two appearances in the EFL Cup so far this season, and the winger has yet to play a single minute in the Championship this campaign.

The youngster made four starts and 20 substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Pochettino has told Football.London that he does not have any plan at the moment to recall the winger from his loan spell at Leeds.

The Spurs manager told Football.London when asked if he would be recalling Clarke: “Today, no. Today no. But football is dynamic. It always changes. You know we have the people to look after Jack Clarke. We have the structure to look after him. I cannot think too much about Jack Clarke.”

Pochettino added: "Jack Clarke is at Leeds now. He is playing for Leeds. He is our player but he is on loan. Of course, if you say to me today about Jack Clarke, I don't know because today he has not got a place to come with us. What is going to happen in a few months, I don’t know.”
