Unai Emery has told Football London that he is yet to make his mind up over whether Alexandre Lacazette will start for Arsenal on Monday evening, but he will return to the squad.

Arsenal are due to take on Sheffield United, and should have Lacazette available to them again.

The French striker has returned to Arsenal training now, as he seeks to return to full fitness.

And Emery has suggested that he has a decision to make over playing the Frenchman in his side’s next game.

“Today was his first session with us and he's feeling well with his injury,” Emery said.

“It depends on how he feels in the coming days whether he'll feature on Monday but it's been a positive start.

“I don't know if he will play 90 minutes or start on the bench.”

Lacazette’s return to fitness is a huge boost to Arsenal as the striker is one of the most dangerous attackers in the Premier League.

Alexandre Lacazette of Arsenal warms up during the Premier League match between Arsenal and Everton at Emirates Stadium on February 3, 2018 in London, England.

Lacazette scored twice in his first three appearances for Arsenal this term, before injury struck.

It seems more likely that Lacazette will start from the bench on Monday, as Arsenal will not want to take any risks with his fitness, but if he does make it into Emery's starting line-up it will make the Gunners even more of a frightening prospect.

Arsenal have made a solid start to the campaign so far, and currently sit in third place in the Premier League table.
