Tottenham looked in very good mood in the build up to this weekend.

Pictures of Tottenham Hotspur’s players in training were released yesterday and they showed a positive mood behind the scenes.

You would not know from the image above that Tottenham are a club facing a crisis by their own high standards, having conceded 10 goals in their last two games.

Ninth place in the Premier League is beyond even a worse case scenario imagined by supporters at this stage of the season, with Tottenham entering the season with hopes of putting together a  title challenge.

Tottenham face Watford at home this weekend and the international break may have done them a big favour.

It was all doom and gloom after their loss to Brighton and Hove Albion before the international break.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino slunk into his seat in the dugout, looking like a man running out of patience.

The pictures from training with Pochettino and record signing Tanguy Ndombele suggest Tottenham have got some of the negativity out of their system and are in good spirits.

That’s half the battle won as Spurs look to bounce back. This weekend’s game at home to Watford is an ideal ‘get right’ game for the Lilywhites.
