Frank Lampard’s Chelsea will face Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Chelsea will be determined to maintain their good run of form this weekend when they take on Newcastle United at home in the Premier League.
The Blues will head into the match against Newcastle at Stamford Bridge in London on Saturday afternoon in a positive mood, and manager Frank Lampard will be confident of getting the better of the Magpies.
There are a few injury concerns for the Blues, and Lampard will probably have to wait closer to the match to make a final decision on the starting lineup.
Kepa Arrizabalaga will retain his place between the posts, and the Spain international goalkeeper will have Cesar Azpilicueta, Fikayo Tomori, Kurt Zouma and Marcos Alonso as the four defenders in front of him.
There is a chance that Antonio Rudiger could make an appearance, with the defender recovering well from his groin injury, but Lampard could well decide to keep him on the substitutes’ bench.
Mason Mount, Jorginho and Ross Barkley will form the midfield-three, with N’Golo Kante struggling with an adductor muscle problem.
Up front, Chelsea will have the potent trio of Willian, Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has made one start and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for the Blues so far this season, according to WhoScored, and is valued at €50 million (£43.3m) by the CIES Football Observatory.
