Leeds United star Stuart Dallas says that he is a Liverpool fan.
Dallas, who can also operate as a left-back or as a wing-back, made the comments during an interview with LUTV.
The 28-year-old Northern Ireland international was naming his ultimate seven-a-side team.
Dallas said on LUTV: “You know what, I grew up sort of, I don't know if I'm allowed to say, supporting Liverpool. Gerrard’s obviously in there, Robbie Fowler as well.”
Dallas said when asked to name a former Leeds player for his team: “There have been some good ones [Leeds players from over the last 100 years] haven't there? I'll go with Mark Viduka.
"Obviously being a Liverpool fan growing up and I remember him scoring the four goals [against the Reds in 2000]. Obviously, he's a great goalscorer, you know, I'll go for him."
Important player for Leeds United
Dallas is a very good player who has added versatility to his game in recent years and is now an important figure in the current Leeds team under head coach Marcelo Bielsa.
During the 2018-19 campaign, the 28-year-old made 12 starts and 18 substitute appearances in the league for the West Yorkshire outfit, scoring four goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
Leeds are aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship table this season and clinch automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Bielsa’s side are fifth in the league table at the moment with 20 points from 11 matches, just two points behind leaders West Bromwich Albion and second-placed Nottingham Forest.
