USA were shockingly beaten by Canada for the first time in 34 years, and Newcastle man Yedlin did little to impress.
The right-back struggled for his country, as they struggled to make any impact on the match.
And Newcastle fans will not enjoy reading the reaction to Yedlin’s display in the contest.

Yedlin is likely to start for Newcastle at the weekend, and a much improved performance will be required.
The right-back made a positive impression on Newcastle’s team two weekends’ ago, as he starred during their 1-0 victory over Manchester United upon his return from injury.
If Yedlin is picked by Steve Bruce on Saturday he faces another tough test though.
Newcastle are set to take on an in-form Chelsea side, who are sure to challenge his defensive qualities.
