The Liverpool loanee has long-term designs on making it at Anfield it seems.
Grujic, who was Jurgen Klopp's first signing as Liverpool manager, is enjoying a second season-long loan at Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga at the moment.
But looking forward, the former Red Star Belgrade talent, signed for £5 million in January of 2016 [The Echo], wants to be back on Merseyside.
Here's how Liverpool fans reacted:
Great Milner replacement as long as he's happy with a squad role.— David Hickman (@DavidHickman87) October 16, 2019
Milner’s replacement— soccergringo (@soccergringo1) October 16, 2019
Cant be sold. Has to be Milner's replacement. Strong, assured with the ball at feet, good passer, getting required playing time. Keeps improving.— Mick Emers (@EmersMick) October 16, 2019

Grujic certainly has the talent to replace Milner - who turns 34 in January - and lord knows that Klopp is a fantastic man-manager, one who could well take his game to the next level.
The downside of being a Liverpool-owned midfielder is the competition, with Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum also at Klopp's disposal right now.
That being said, he certainly seems like a hungry and ambitious player, qualities which can take you far in football. Just ask the player who the supporters tip him to replace.
