Tottenham Hotspur's Toby Alderweireld

Graham Roberts has messaged Toby Alderweireld on Twitter, urging him to keep a clean sheet for Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.

Spurs defender Alderweireld was in good form over the international break, as Belgium picked up maximum points.

Roberto Martinez’s side kept their opponents out in both their latest international matches.

And Roberts now wants Alderweireld to bring his form back to Tottenham, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side look to improve.

Spurs have struggled so far this campaign, with their performances highly worrying.

Tottenham went into the international break after a 7-2 defeat against Bayern Munich and a 3-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion, with their defence struggling to cope.

Alderweireld has under performed at Spurs so far this term, with some supporters expressing concerns over his commitment levels, as his contract is running down.

Tottenham’s next match comes against Watford at the weekend, and they will be looking for a huge improvement.
