Duncan Ferguson has revealed that everybody at Everton is firmly behind under-fire manager Marco Silva.

The Toffees sit 18th in the Premier League table after losing their last four games under Silva.

Prior to the international break, Everton went down 1-0 away to Burnley in a result which does nothing for the Portuguese manager.

Since then, there have been murmurs that a managerial change could be on the horizon, with former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys revealing last week that the former Watford boss is a 'deeply unpopular' figure at the Goodison Park club.

But the club's legendary striker and current first-team coach claims that Silva has the support of everybody at Finch Farm.

He told The Echo: "We've just got to make sure we can turn it around, I really believe that. I think we will prove that on Saturday.

"The spirit is still there – 100% definitely. Everybody's behind the manager and we know that the fans will always be behind the club. We just need to turn the positivity that we've got around the place into victories, that's what we're looking to do.”

The good news for Everton is that they're home to West Ham United this weekend and then away to Brighton seven days later.

They're two winnable games for the Merseyside club, but the bad news for Silva is that two defeats would make it very difficult for the club to continue with him in charge.
