Frayed is the latest comedy to grace Sky One and fans are already calling for more!

Now that Sky One’s Brassic has been and gone, at least for the time being, something was needed to fill that empty comedy void.

As it happened, up stepped the Sarah Kendall-created Frayed, a brilliant English-Australian comedy collaboration that fans can’t seem to get enough of.

The series made its debut on Sky One and NOW TV on September 26th here in the UK and fans are already calling for more, especially those who have binge-watched the whole first season.

But the question is, will it get a second season? The show’s viewers certainly hope it will!

What’s Frayed about?

After the tragic and untimely death of her husband, Samantha ‘Sammy’ Cooper is forced to return to Newcastle in her Australian homeland where she grew up.

Joined by her two children, Sammy has to effectively start her life all over again but events from her troubled past in Australia catch back up with her and despite wishes of heading back to London, is forced to make do.

Will it be getting a second season?

At the time of writing, as season 1 of Frayed is still ongoing on Sky One, there is no news about a possible second series.

However, if the series does well and can pull in a respectable number of viewers then, of course, a second season is entirely possible.

After all, they can’t just leave Frayed to end in the way they did.

Fans want more!

While Sky One viewers have a few more episodes to get through, a number of NOW TV subscribers have clearly binge-watched the show and reached the end of the series. Unsurprisingly, they’re calling for more!

Whether or not Frayed does return for a second series remains to be seen, for now at least.

In other news, Will there be a Miss Scarlet and the Duke season 2? Alibi fans could get their second series wish!
