Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson was in action for England this evening.

England fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson against the Czech Republic this evening.

Henderson was in action for England in their Euro 2020 Group A qualifier against the Czech Republic away from home on Friday evening.

The Liverpool midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Gareth Southgate’s side lost 2-1.

The 29-year-old midfielder tried hard and gave his all, but the former Sunderland star’s quality was lacking and his passing was disappointing.

According to WhoScored, Henderson took one shot which was on target, had a pass accuracy of 68.4%, won two headers, took 64 touches, and made one tackle and one clearance.

Harry Kane put the Three Lions in the lead from the penalty spot as early as the fifth minute, but the home team came back strongly and found the net twice to pick up all three points from the encounter.

England fans were not impressed with the display produced by Henderson and have criticised the Liverpool midfielder on Twitter.
