England fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount this evening.

Mount was in action for England in their Euro 2020 Group A qualifier against the Czech Republic on Friday evening.

It was the 20-year-old midfielder’s first start for the Three Lions, and the youngster's performance left much to be desired.

The former Derby County loanee has been playing well for the Blues this season, but for England against the Czech Republic, the midfielder failed to impose himself in the middle of the park and had a disappointing time on the pitch before he was substituted in the 72nd minute.

According to WhoScored, Mount took one shot which was not on target, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 85.2%, took 40 touches, made two tackles, and put in one cross.

So far this season, the midfielder has scored four goals in eight Premier League appearances for Chelsea, according to WhoScored, and has been one of the best young players in the league.

England fans were not impressed with Mount’s performance on Friday evening and have criticised him on Twitter.
