The Gunners goal machine has been sensational for Unai Emery and co in September and as such the best PL player of the month is an Emirates Stadium ace.
A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the news that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for September.
The 30-year-old scored five goals in four league appearances for the Gunners last month, beginning with the equaliser against bitter rivals Tottenham at the start of September.
Aubameyang then notched up an impressive brace against Watford – also a 2-2 draw – and struck the winner against Aston Villa, a late free kick to defeat the newly promoted side.
The Gabon international’s stunning month was wrapped up with another equaliser, this time away at Manchester United, and given his exploits, it’s unsurprising that he topped the public vote.
Here is some of the Arsenal fan reaction – plus a comment from strike partner Alexandre Lacazette – to the club announcing the good news on their social media feed:

Not sure how Guendouzi won Arsenal player of the month. And Auba won Premier League player of the month— (@aubamezetteee) 11 October 2019
Well deserved ❤️ not just for his goals but for what he does as a team player he makes sure the younger players are included too. This is the man who was supposed to have come with an attitude problem— ⚽️ T ⚽️ (@gooner_toni) 11 October 2019
We have been blessed, with many fantastic strikers over the years and he is up there with all the greats. We are so lucky.— amy (@amyampaire) 11 October 2019

Aubameyang beat Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kevin de Bruyne, Son Heung-min and Riyad Mahrez to the award.
Up next for Unai Emery’s charges after the international break comes to an end is the Premier League trip to Sheffield United a week on Monday.
