How to score 7,000 or higher in Mario Kart Tour with a driver who has three hairs but isn’t Lakitu.
The Mario Kart Tour gold pass has raised more than a few eyebrows (along with Nintendo’s £39 Diddy Kong package), but those who have subscribed to it in-spite-of the controversy have a bunch of new challenges including one which requires players to score 7,000 or higher with a driver who only has three hairs like Homer Simpson. And we’ll tell how to do just that with Lakitu and someone else.
Nintendo’s Mario Kart Tour Tokyo event has brought about Princess Peach’s superior, Rosaline, along with the series’ (in)famous Rainbow Road all us kinky gluttons for punishment were begging for before its launch. The event has also introduced the Tokyo Metropolis and a Japanese-themed cosmetic for Nintendo’s plump plumber (still no Luigi – what the hell?).

How to score 7,000 or higher with a driver who only has three hairs in Mario Kart Tour – Lakitu
One of the drivers you can use for the ‘score 7,000 or higher with a driver who has three hairs’ challenge is Lakitu; the smiling turtle who somehow sits atop a cloud that also happens to be beaming.
Unfortunately, Lakitu is difficult to unlock so he probably won’t be your first choice. But, before we discuss his alternative, we’ll first explain how to complete the challenge with him behind the wheel.
Provided you unlock him through either getting lucky with the Gacha machine or spending roughly 3,000 coins, you will want to choose either of the following courses that will allow him to pick up three item boxes simultaneously in hope of getting Frenzy: Toad Circuit T or Mario Circuit 2T.
Simply then pick a kart and glider that will boost your score by giving you the most amount of points, and focus on keeping your combo alive and increasing by collecting coins, whacking enemies with items and performing drift boosts.
How to score 7,000 or higher with a driver who only has three hairs in Mario Kart Tour – Morton
Aside from Lakitu, another driver you can use for the ‘score 7,000 or higher with a driver who has three hairs’ challenge is Morton. After all, he fits the requirements by having uno, dos, tres hairs.
Morton is perhaps a more viable option as he only costs 800 coins, plus he can be used for the ‘use a giant banana three times’ challenge.
If you go down the route of using Morton instead of Lakitu, you will want to use the Kalimari Desert course instead of Toad Circuit T or Mario Circuit 2T. This is because the Desert is where Morton can get his Frenzy on.
From there on just follow the same advice given with Lakitu and you should be able to complete the challenge with relative ease.
