Newcastle United winger Allan Saint Maximin made a massive impact for Steve Bruce’s side last weekend.

Allan Saint Maximin has told Newcastle United’s official website that he already loves the fans at St. James’ Park.

Saint-Maximin has suffered with injury since signing for Newcastle, which has kept him sidelined for much of his time at the club so far.

However, the winger made a hugely positive impression for Newcastle in their last match against Manchester United.

Saint-Maximin terrorised the United back four, as Newcastle ran out 1-0 winners in their last match.

And Saint-Maximin loves the way that Newcastle supporters encourage him to dribble when he is on the ball.

“I’m feeling really good!”, Saint-Maximin said. “It was a very good win. We worked very, very hard and we won a great game against a great team. I can only be happy!

“I was with the team when we won against Tottenham and now we have won against Man United, which have been two big games for us so we are very happy.

“I’m really pleased to get my first Premier League win in front of the home supporters. I love the fans – that win was for them! I love to dribble and they are always pushing me on when I do so. I just want to keep working hard for them.”

Saint-Maximin certainly appears to need no encouragement to dribble, as he thrives off carrying the ball up the pitch.

His forward runs were crucial for Newcastle against United, as they often helped them gain advantages territorially.

Newcastle will be hoping that Saint-Maximin can stay fit now, as he looks to have the ability to add a huge amount of threat to their attacking ranks.

Steve Bruce’s side are next in action in two weekends’ time, when they take on Chelsea.
