Rangers manager Steven Gerrard

Alan Brazil predicted on talkSPORT (7:52am, October 10, 2019) that Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers and Neil Lennon’s Celtic will face each other in the final of the Scottish League Cup this season.

Celtic will take on Hibernian in the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup on November 2, while a day later, Rangers will lock horns with Heart of Midlothian in the last four.

Former Scotland international forward Brazil – who now works as a presenter on talkSPORT and stated in The Sunday Post in July 2017 that he is red-hot Celtic fan – believes that the Hoops and the Gers will contest the final.

Brazil said on talkSPORT (7:52am, October 10, 2019): “I look forward to the final, Celtic-Rangers. It will be.”

Celtic v Rangers in Scottish League Cup final?

Celtic and Rangers have the two best squads in Scotland, and many will back the Hoops and the Gers to contest the final of the Scottish League Cup this season.

However, Hibernian and Hearts can spring a surprise, especially in cup ties, and Gerrard and Lennon cannot get complacent at all.
