Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth has not been fit enough to feature for a single minute for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season.
Tottenham Hotspur fans are not impressed that Juan Foyth appears set to start for Argentina later this evening.
Golazo in Argentina report that Spurs defender Foyth is likely to start at right-back when his nation take on Germany this evening.
Foyth has not been fit to play a single minute for Tottenham so far this campaign.
However, Argentina apparently feel that he is ready to play a big role in their friendly match.
And Spurs fans really are not happy about the news that Foyth is expected to start.

Again. Letting a player go on international duty who’s just back from injury before playing for us . You know what’s coming— Tom (@Tommo__yid) October 8, 2019
Will get another injury. Well managed @SpursOfficial— Riz (@RizThfc) October 8, 2019
This is crazy . He hasn’t played a competitive game (mind you none of our recent games have been very competitive unfortunately . ) He should be nowhere near this international match .— Nick Irvine (@NickIrvine12) October 8, 2019
You have got to be shitting me. We lost Lo Celso for three months or longer in a friendly where he was hacked multiple times. Foyth is only barely just fit enough to be back on our bench having been crocked in a friendly in the summer. Poch needs to get real.— Kelvis (@Kelvis56611305) October 8, 2019

Bet he gets injured— The Spurs Compendium (@SpursCompendium) October 8, 2019
Tottenham have already lost Giovani Lo Celso to an injury he suffered while representing Argentina, so their fears are understandable.
Spurs have been desperate for Foyth to return, as he could solve their problem at right-back.
Tottenham have tried a number of different options on the right-hand side of their defence this term, but none of them have worked particularly well.
The hope is that Foyth’s return will help Mauricio Pochettino fill the void.
But Spurs will now have an anxious wait as they hope that Foyth isn’t rushed back from injury too quickly by his country.
