Moise Kean could end up playing for Erik ten Hag after all.

Marco Silva is under huge pressure at Everton, and he will certainly be worried as rumours link the Toffees with a number of managers.

Silva lost 1-0 at Burnley on Saturday afternoon, meaning he has now lost four Premier League games in a row, at the hands of Bournemouth, Sheffield United, Manchester City and now Burnley.

It's been a disappointing start to the season for Everton and Silva appears to be clinging on to his job, with the Toffees unlikely to tolerate much more underachieving.

In fact, 90Min report that Everton want Ajax boss Erik ten Hag, who masterminded their run to the Champions League semi-finals last season.

Ten Hag is allegedly near the top of Everton's wish list, with a real belief that they can get him – and that would be an interesting situation for striker Moise Kean.

Everton landed a coup by signing Kean from Juventus over the summer, and whilst he's still waiting for his first goal, he's settling into the Premier League in what should be an exciting spell at Goodison Park.

It could have all been different for Kean though, as Gazzetta Dello Sport reported over the summer that Ten Hag and Ajax were moving for Kean, but Everton swooped in to beat them to a summer deal.

That Ajax interest should at least be reassuring to the striker and to Everton fans that Kean would have a big part to play if such a move was to take place, rather than have the uncertainty of having to fight for the affection of a new manager.

Of course, Kean would still have to prove himself to Ten Hag, but that interest could give him a head start. Months after the Italian could have joined Ajax, he may find himself playing under Ten Hag at Goodison Park, and that would be a real strange twist of fate for the forward.
