Jurgen Klopp guided Liverpool to Champions League glory in June and in May he will want to add the Premier League trophy to his CV.
Liverpool supporters on Twitter have hit out at Danny Mills after he questioned Jurgen Klopp’s record at the Merseyside club.
Klopp has been in charge of the current Premier League leaders for four years and during that period he has won two trophies – Champions League in June, which was followed up by the European Super Cup.
But former Manchester City defender Mills was questioning on TalKSport Klopp’s record as Liverpool manager as he dismissed their Super Cup trophy.
Mills’ comments have been met with anger by the Liverpool supporters, who had to put him right that Klopp has in actual won two trophies at the club.
Not only that, they pointed towards Klopp’s record as manager, his European finals, trophy wins and Premier League record.
At this moment in time, Liverpool are sitting top of the Premier League table, as Klopp’s next task is to win that English League title.
The German has already written his name into Liverpool history and he will make an even bigger name for himself if he does guide the club to the Premier League title.
Here is a selection of Liverpool fans reacting to Mills’ comments about Klopp:
