Tammy Abraham may have returned to Chelsea in May after helping Aston Villa earn promotion to the Premier League, but that hasn't stopped him from reuniting with his former teammate Tyrone Mings.
Both have been called up to the England squad, with the duo stating on their personal Instagram accounts how much they have 'missed' each other.
This is the first time that Abraham has been called up by Gareth Southgate, and the second time Mings has received his call, but they are yet to make their debut for their country.
They will be hoping to do that ahead of England's up and coming qualifiers, as Villa fans will love the messages both players sent to one another on Instagram:
Both players joined Villa, last summer and last January respectively, on loan deals, with Mings making his move to Villa Park permanent from Bournemouth after that Wembley showpiece.
Even though it may have not seemed it at the time, but Abraham's goals during the winter period kept Villa ticking because whilst they weren't winning they were picking up points - 2-2 against WBA, Stoke, Hull, QPR, 1-1 against Preston, and that 3-3 against Sheffield United.
By the time Mings got settled in at Villa, he transformed an unbalanced and leaky Villa defence, and added with Abraham's goal and Dean Smith's attacking style, they won 10 games on the bounce and surged their way into the play-offs.
Whilst Abraham didn't get on the scoresheet at Wembley, he and Mings put in an outstanding display, as they have now taken that form into the Premier League and been rewarded with an England call-up.
