A large amount of Liverpool players well be heading off around the world this week.

Liverpool have revealed a massive 17 players will be heading off international duty this week, across multiple continents.

The Reds’ Brazilian contingent, along with Sadio Mane, would appear to have the most gruelling trip. Roberto Firmino and Fabinho head to Singapore to face Senegal and Nigeria in friendly action.

Jordan Henderson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez have also been called up to the England squad for matches against Czech Republic and Bulgaria.

Meanwhile, in the rest of Europe, Virgil van Dijk, Georginio Wijnaldum, Divock Origi, Dejan Lovren and Andy Robertson have all been called up to represent their countries in Euro 2020 qualifying.

With a number of talent youngsters also heading off, Jurgen Klopp will be hoping that his big stars return not only injury free but ready for action against Manchester United at Old Trafford on October 20th.

Liverpool haven’t won at the venue since 2014 but will be hoping to capitalise on the Red Devils’ dreadful form to pile more pressure on both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, United and second-place side Manchester City.

Some fans are concerned about fitness problems too, specifically with regards to players featuring in Singapore.

There are even a few calling on their favourites to feign injury and pull out, knowing how important the team’s upcoming schedule is.
