We’re ready to get back into the villa… well, another one.

Does reality TV get much better than Love Island?

Probably not – it’s class! The beloved series from ITV arrived on screens back in 2015 and was actually a revival of a celeb series of the same name which aired in 2005.

Caroline Flack’s presenting and Iain Stirling’s sarcastic narration are a winning combination in our book, and when reflecting on the overwhelming success of the show, we’d say the nation agrees wholeheartedly.

The BAFTA-winning title sees a bunch of singles enter a luxurious villa and attempt to find love while navigating arguments, revealing challenges and curveballs thrown in throughout the series. It might even sound quite dull on paper, but after one episode you’re pretty much hooked!

There are actually versions in other locations too, from Germany to America. However, we’re here to talk about Love Island Australia…

How to watch Love Island Australia in the UK

Love Island Australia has finally returned for series 2, and soon those of us in the UK will be able to tune in thanks to ITVBe.

According to Radio Times, episode one will air on ITVBe on Monday, October 14th 2019 at 10 pm; it will be on until 11:40 pm, as the introductory episode sees them all enter the villa and get acquainted for the first time.

The next episode follows on Tuesday, October 15th, airing from 10 pm until 11.15 pm. Subsequent episodes will follow daily, again airing at 10 pm.

We can’t wait!

More about it!

Series 1 of the Australian version of the show went down a treat, and if you’re missing Love Island UK already, it’s a no-brainer to tune into this one.

If you didn’t see the previous series but want to tune in, you’ll be just fine. It follows the same format as the original, with the recoupling elements and what have you all thrown in to spice things up every now and then. Rather than the familiar faces of the UK edition, on the other hand, Love Island Australia is presented by Sophie Monk and narrated by Eoghan McDermott.

The new series actually began airing on Monday, 7th October 2019 on the Nine Network and 9Now in Australia, with production in Fiji. So, although we’re a little late to the party, we’re happy to see it airing in the UK.

What do the fans think so far?

We’re not going to give you any spoilers – don’t worry! – but let’s take a look at a couple of reactions from audiences enjoying the show so far…

One viewer wrote on Twitter: “Immediate impression from Love Island Australia – holy s**t how is everyone so attractive…”

Another added: “What the fudge Love Island Australia is like model haven right now.” We won’t pull up anymore, as that’d venture into spoiler territory!

Now you know it’s on the way, we hope you enjoy it.
