Tottenham Hotspur could be without Hugo Lloris for the foreseeable future.

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans are predicting a return to north London for Michel Vorm.

Vorm left the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when his contract expired, and wasn’t renewed, at the end of last season.

But the 15-cap Netherlands international has yet to find a new club, despite strong links with a return to first club FC Utrecht.

And now, with Hugo Lloris expected to be sidelined until Christmas at the earliest with a dislocated elbow (The Sun), some think Vorm’s next employers could be the same as his last.

Paulo Gazzaniga is expected to deputise for Lloris, as he did while Vorm was at the club last season.

But beyond Gazzaniga, there is a dearth of senior-level experience, with the Tottenham U23s’ keeper Alfie Whiteman having acted as third-choice this campaign.

Vorm joined Tottenham in 2014 from Swansea City and played 47 times throughout his time at the club.

Some West Ham United fans have already called on their side to snap up Vorm after Lukasz Fabianski suffered an injury of his own.
