Gary Lineker has sent a message to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Twitter following their win against Manchester City at the weekend.

Wolves got the better of City 2-0 away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

Adama Traore put Nuno’s side in the lead in the 80th minute, and the former Aston Villa winger doubled the advantage for the visitors in the fourth minute of injury time.

 

Former Tottenham Hotspur and Everton striker Lineker was following the match, and he was impressed with the display produced by Wolves.

Improving

Wolves did not start the season strongly, but Nuno’s side have improved in recent weeks and are getting positive results at the moment.

Nuno’s side have won their last four matches in all competitions, and there is an air of optimism around the Molineux Stadium.

The Wanderers have a strong team, and just like last season, they can be successful this campaign as well.

Wolves are 11th in the Premier League table at the moment with 10 points from eight matches.
