Leeds United lost to Millwall in London on Saturday afternoon.
Leeds United fans have a new enemy in the form of Tom Bradshaw.
The Millwall striker impressed on Saturday as the Londoners edged out United 2-1 at The Den to send Marcelo Bielsa’s side fifth in the Championship.
Like most of Leeds’ trip to The Den, this one wasn’t short of drama and most of it centered around Bradshaw.
The Wales international won a dubious first-half penalty in an incident which saw Gaetano Berardi sent off for seemingly tripping Bradshaw inside the area.
But television replays suggest that the Leeds defender – who had seven red cards for the Whites before Saturday – made no contact with the striker.
Fans of the Elland Road club took to Twitter and called on the EFL to issue a retrospective ban to Bradshaw for simulation and the Yorkshire giants confirmed on Sunday that they would appeal Berardi’s dismissal.
Nevertheless, Bradshaw, who scored Millwall’s second of the day, reacted to the win on Instagram, but neglected to touch on the controversy, instead highlighting the ‘unbelievable’ atmosphere drummed up by both sets of supporters.
