Sadio Mane scored and won a penalty for Liverpool as they beat Leicester City on Saturday.

Leicester City fans on Twitter have hit out at Sadio Mane for diving during their 2-1 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday and also spotted that the player grabbed the wrong ankle when he went down.

It seems as though Brendan Rodgers was going to end Liverpool’s 100% start to the season, but in stoppage-time, the referee adjudged that Mane was fouled by Marc Albrighton.

There was contact by Albrighton, but the Foxes fans weren’t happy with the manner in which Mane went down, as they felt that his reaction was delayed.

Added with that, they also noticed that when he was on the floor, he grabbed the wrong ankle, that was clipped, as James Milner converted the spot-kick.

In the end, Jurgen Klopp’s side walked away with all three points and they have won their opening eight matches of the Premier League season.

But Leicester, who have ambitions of finishing in a European spot this season, were left angry by what they saw towards the end of the game.

It hasn’t gone down well with their supporters, who felt that they should have left Anfield with a deserved point heading into the international break.

Instead, it is a minor setback for Rodgers side, who will be pleased with the performance and fight they showed against the current Premier League leaders.
