Kieran Tierney left Celtic in the summer transfer window.

Kieran Tierney has suggested to The Daily Record that he could return to Celtic in the future.

The Scotland international left-back joined Premier League outfit Arsenal from Scottish Premiership club Celtic in the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old has suggested that he could be back at Celtic Park in the future, but for now, his focus is on Arsenal.

When asked if he could see himself returning to Celtic before he hangs up his boots, Tierney told The Daily Record: “Could I end up back at Celtic one day?

“I have signed a long-term deal here at Arsenal and you can’t think that far ahead. You never know but that’s thinking a long way ahead.”

Succeeding at Arsenal

Tierney is one of the best and most promising young left-backs in Europe, and the youngster has a bright future ahead of him.

The 22-year-old was superb for the Gunners in the Europa League on Thursday evening, and it is a sign of what’s to come.

Perhaps later on in his career, the left-back could be back at Celtic, but for now, he will be determined to make his mark in the Premier League.

Arsenal are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season, as well as win the Europa League.
