Glasgow Rangers ace Alfredo Morelos and Odsonne Edouard of Celtic cannot be compared, like Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud, according to Tony Watt.
Tony Watt has stated on Twitter that Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos and Celtic ace Odsonne Edouard cannot be compared.
The 25-year-old former Celtic forward – who is now on the books of PFC CSKA Sofia – has used the examples of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane and Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
While Kane is one of the best strikers in the world and is a consistent goalscorer in the Premier League, Giroud has won the FA Cup thrice with Arsenal, the Europa League once with Chelsea, Ligue 1 once with Montpellier, and the 2018 World Cup with France.
Appreciate Edouard and Morelos while they’re here. Could shine in most teams. Two totally different number 9s. Can’t be compared— Tony Watt (@32watto_) October 4, 2019
Not for me. Giroud scored 0 goals for a World Cup medal Kane won golden boot… I know who’s shoes I’d rather be in! Two totally different strikers. https://t.co/rIOkqxSlag— Tony Watt (@32watto_) October 4, 2019
Morelos and Edouard are two of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership, and the 23-year-old and the 21-year-old have been in very good form so far this season.
According to WhoScored, Morelos has scored five goals in seven Scottish Premiership matches for Rangers so far this season, while Edouard has scored five goals in six Scottish Premiership appearances for Celtic so far this campaign, according to WhoScored.
