Rangers trio Joe Aribo, Glenn Middleton and Serge Atakayi are pleased to see former Ibrox player Joe Dodoo find a new club.
Joe Dodoo may have failed to make an impact at Rangers, but it seems that he made quite a few friends during his time at Ibrox.
The 24-year-old forward joined Rangers in the summer of 2016 when Mark Warburton was in charge of the Ibrox outfit, with the Gers paying Leicester City in the Premier League a compensation fee of £250,000, as reported in The Daily Record.
The former England Under-18 international failed to establish himself in the Gers’ starting lineup, and had loan spells at Charlton Athletic and Blackpool before leaving the Scottish Premiership club in the summer of 2019.
The youngster has now found a new club in Bolton Wanderers in League One in England, and he is delighted to have join the Trotters.
Dodoo has taken to Instagram to express his delight at switching to Bolton, and three Rangers players – 23-year-old midfielder Joe Aribo, 19-year-old winger Glenn Middleton currently on loan at Hibernian, and 20-year-old forward Serge Atakayi – have expressed their delight at his move.
Atakayi responded: “Good luck brother.”
Aribo wrote: “My bro.”
Middleton responded: “All the best bro.”
